The Association of Ductwork Contactors and Allied Services (ADCAS) and the Ductwork Group of the HVCA have signed an accord to work more closely together to promote excellence across the sector.
Members of both trade organisations will benefit from greater collaboration and shared expertise between the bodies particularly in areas such as legal and contractual issues.
Key areas of collaboration activity in the Partners in Ductwork Excellence Agreement include standards development, vocational education and competence accreditation and reciprocal access arrangements relating to websites, specialist publications and training programmes.
The agreement was signed at a joint meeting of the executive committees of the two bodies in London on September 25.
ADCAS president Malcolm Moss said “The agreement will serve further to cement our relationship, and will assist us in working together for the good of the sector.”
