Coolair appoints senior sales and project engineer

Leading air conditioning installation specialist Coolair Equipment has enhanced its growing Midlands operation with the appointment of a senior sales and project engineer.

Mark Higgins, senior sales and project engineer at Coolair

Mark Higgins, who will be based at the company’s offices in Cannock, has 20 years of project management experience within the region’s building services industry.

Mr Higgins will help to drive the expansion of the company’s successful design and build business in its traditional retail, residential, commercial, education and hotel sectors across the Midlands. He will also be responsible for designing and project managing the installation of tailored cooling and heating systems for architects, developers and contractors.

Mr Higgins, who lives in Bromsgrove, was previously senior projects manager for a Sutton Coldfield heating and air conditioning services contractor, where he managed major projects including the Amazon fulfilment centre in Rugeley.

He began his career as an apprentice installation engineer with a Stourbridge air conditioning firm and gained his Level 3 NVQ qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning at Solihull College.

Neil Gibbard, regional director for Coolair, said: “Mark is the perfect fit to take our business forward. His experience in our sectors will enable us to boost our growth within the region with the support of our global manufacturing partners.”

Coolair's Midlands office has built long-established associations with developers and contractors, resulting in recent major orders from local schools and online retail and banking clients.
