Constructions Skills search for new chief exec
The search for a new chief executive to lead the Industry Training Board and the sector skills council , ConstructionSkillswill begin in January.

Lobben formed the ConstructionSkills partnership with CITB Northern Ireland and the Construction Industry Council which achieved a licence to operate as the sector skills council for construction in 2003. Since then, ConstructionSkills has worked to secure better skills and training funding deal for the industry through the sector skills agreement.

Lobban said: 'The organisation is now in a very good position to capitalise on some extremely exciting new opportunities and will, no doubt, continue to provide innovative and employer-led skills and training solutions for the construction industry for many years to come. After a hugely challenging, but enjoyable, time I am now looking forward to passing the baton to a new champion.'
