Cold Service appoints new senior management team

Cold Service Group has appointed Andrew Baxendine as its new group managing director.
This appointment is part of the restructuring of the management team which sees Adrian Westrup promoted to commercial director, Peter Cutcliffe become engineering director, Gary Mallet move to service director and Danny Ryan take on the role of operations director at the Ringwood-based business.

Mr Baxendine brings management experience from a broad range of industry sectors to his new position, where he will take responsibility for Cold Service, Cold Service Local and the recently acquired, Central Refrigeration and Air Conditioning business. His background includes senior executive experience gained in defence design and manufacturing, food marketing and manufacturing, IT and telecoms distribution and service provision, and fabric design and wholesale. He has also worked as a partner in an international firm of chartered accountants responsible for lead advisory corporate finance and the management of merger and acquisitions activity.
