This year's conference and dinner will be held in Central London on Thursday November 25, 2010.

As government moves towards greater localism, the association will explore innovative approaches used in delivering energy locally. It will look specifically at the role of community energy, CHP, district heating and cooling and at pioneering, clear-cut models for their delivery.

Invited speakers include:

Greg Barker, minister of state, Energy and Climate Change
Lord Hunt, former minister of state, Energy and Climate Change
David Kennedy, chief executive, Climate Change Committee
Bob Wigley, chairman, Green Investment Bank Commission
Neil Bentley, director, Business Environment, CBI

Innovation, success and best practice from across the sector will then be celebrated at the CHPA Awards and gala dinner. To be held at Gibson Hall, in the heart of the city of London, this follows the Conference earlier in the day. The awards are now open for entries and the closing date is September 6.
