Pipeline and heating distributor BSS Industrial has launched a range of plate heat exchangers under its own brand, BOSS.
The new BOSS plate heat exchangers are said to have been developed in conjunction with market leaders in heat transfer technology to offer compact construction and a low liquid hold-up volume which gives a low weight ratio. The plate heat exchangers can be specified for a variety of applications, including heat recovery to minimise energy wastage and domestic hot water production in premises such as hotels or hospitals.
Paul Richardson, product group manager at BSS Industrial, said: 'The new BOSS plate heat exchangers offer a whole host of benefits in comparison to more traditional methods of heat transfer, like easy plate access for inspection and cleaning as well as extension capability to accommodate growing businesses.
