Steve Cooper, managing director of Armstrong Integrated Systems, has been appointed global director of renewables and sustainability for pump manufacturer Armstrong.
In addition to his leadership role at Armstrong’s factory in Halesowen, West Midlands, Cooper has been given a global remit for the Armstrong group in charge of environmental performance and sustainable design.
Cooper’s new role gives board level representation for environmental issues giving it more of a chance to shape future corporate strategy.
Armstrong, a family-run firm founded in 1934 by Samuel Allan Armstrong, has eight manufacturing facilities across the world.
