ABB agrees supply deal with Nuaire

ABB has signed a deal with Nuaire to supply variable speed drives for its range of fans.
Nuaire, based in South Wales, makes a large range of ventilation products and air handling units in the UK. This will now be complimented by ABB standard drives and ABB standard drives for HVAC.

The ABB variable speed drives (VSDs) will form a key part of the company's Ecosmart control range which links fans, drives and condition sensors into a ventilation system that supplies air to meet the real time demand, saving money by cutting energy use.

Nuaire sees the controllability of its fans as one of the most important factors in maintaining its growth in applications such as schools, offices and healthcare, and regards the ABB drives as a positive addition to their already successful Ecosmart control range. The ABB units also allow Nuaire to customise the drive to the needs of individual customers.
