Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe SAS has appointed Enrique Flórez as vice president and general manager Europe with effect from today (1 June 2016).
An industrial engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the building construction sector, Enrique Flórez joined Johnson Controls in 2008 and is currently regional director Spain and Italy, Johnson Controls Building Efficiency.
As part of his new role, Mr Flórez, will define Hitachi’s ‘go-to-market’ strategies and will lead its planned growth in Europe, taking responsibility for developing and maximising the synergies between the joint venture of Johnson Controls and Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe “to exceed customers’ expectations”, the company says.
Working closely with the Hitachi manufacturing facility near Barcelona, he will ensure it continues to design and produce outstanding, high efficiency products for its European customer base that deliver on its promise of ‘engineering excellence designed for tomorrow’.
