GEA Air Treatment becomes DencoHappel

Following the acquisition of the Heat Exchanger Division of the GEA Group AG by the European private equity investment firm Triton last year, the air treatment part of the Heat Exchanger business, which contains GEA Denco, will now continue to operate independently in a more focused way.

Effective from 3 August, GEA Air Treatment is now known as DencoHappel.

Both the names ‘Denco’ and ‘Happel’ are associated with reliability and high quality. Denco is known as an expert in providing solutions for the control of air quality, temperature and humidity in highly sensitive areas. The Happel name dates back to GEA founder Otto Happel and there are many companies with Happel in their name.

All existing contacts and phone numbers will remain the same. However, with email addresses @GEA.com needs to be replaced with @DencoHappel.com.

The company sees the changes as a very positive development, enhancing cooperation within its companies and developing a platform to enhance its products and services further.
