Ventive showcases passive ventilation with heat recovery systems

Ventive, the specialists in low carbon, 'passive ventilation with heat recovery ', will be holding product demonstrations on their stand during the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show 2014 (27th-30th March at the NEC Birmingham).

The Ventive products do not have any moving parts to break down and require no energy to run, they are said to herald a new approach to domestic ventilation that is energy-efficient and improves indoor air quality for building occupants.

Rob Morrison, Managing Director, Ventive said: 'The Ventive product design is perfect for both retrofit and new build projects. It combines the simplicity of passive-stack that boasts the heat recovery performance of a powered mechanical device without the cost, maintenance and energy use.

Furthermore, our products can recover up to 96 per cent of the heat from outgoing stale air by transferring it to incoming fresh air. The system works by harnessing natural buoyancy and wind to generate a passive airflow within the home.'

The expo offers an extensive seminar and master class programme and features more exhibitors of relevance to home improvers, self-builders, developers and investors than ever previously gathered under one roof.

The Homebuilding and Renovating show is the home of inspiration & unrivalled expert advice, and allows you to see, touch and compare 1000s of products & services. The event will offer technical advice from 500 specialists and you can gain in-depth knowledge by attending the master class theatre.

If you are seeking eco solutions and products you can discover the latest energy efficient and sustainable products at The Sustainable Home Show and its own dedicated Sustainable Homes Seminar Theatre.
