Vaillant commercial boilers gain ETL approval

Vaillant Group's commercial boilers have been reviewed against government high performing energy efficiency criteria and listed on the Energy Technology List (ETL).

The ecoTEC plus 48, 64, 100 and 120kW models of wall-hung boilers have all been listed on the ETL, the government-managed list of energy efficient products.

The ETL is part of the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) tax scheme for businesses, and with more than 17,000 listed products, it is one of the world’s largest databases of top performing energy-saving products.

Businesses that purchase products listed on the ETL can claim an ECA, a first year 100 per cent accelerated capital allowance that delivers all available tax relief in one year. This is equivalent to approximately 5.5 times the benefit of standard tax relief in the year of purchase. Businesses that purchase products listed on the ETL can also make significant energy savings.

John Bailey, sales director – commercial and renewable systems at Vaillant, said: “Vaillant has always prided itself on its market-leading engineering. Having the larger output ecoTEC boilers listed on the ETL is testament to our commitment to ensuring we produce the most efficient boilers in the commercial marketplace.

“We understand that it is increasingly important that businesses consider the efficiencies of their heating systems, and this list makes it easier for commercial building managers to ensure that the technology products they choose are as efficient as possible.

“We are especially proud to see that our newest boilers, with outputs of 48 and 64kW, have been included. These boilers are handmade at our award-winning Belper plant and we ship to Europe from this factory.”
