UK boiler manufacturer appoints Scottish partner

Keston, a British manufacturer of light commercial and domestic boilers has appointed Heating, Ventilation and Renewables Sales (HVRS) Scotland to help source its bespoke heating solutions for complex projects.

With vast experience of building services, the HVRS team is made up of dedicated sales engineers who cover the whole of Scotland, from the Borders up to the Highlands and islands.

Up until the appointment, Keston had operated with limited coverage in Scotland; HVRS will offer the brand greater geographical exposure.

Featuring twin flue technology, Keston boilers allow installation in hard-to-reach locations such as basements, or away from outside walls where long flue runs are required. Keston’s boilers are ideal for old buildings in Scotland’s towns and cities, or bespoke projects requiring a non-standard solution.

Charlie Newell, senior business development manager, said: “We needed a strong partner in Scotland to help contractors and specifiers in the market looking for bespoke heating solutions to their projects, as the feedback we were getting was that consultants needed more technical assistance and knowledge of how to solve their problems. HVRS fitted the bill and will be a great asset to the business.”

HVRS equity director Allan Stewart said: “We offer a depth and strength of knowledge which brings with it real technical support. Because we are recognised across Scotland and deal with blue chip companies, our clients and customers feel very secure in the knowledge that we know what we are doing and have a heritage of working in the area.

“People choose Keston for the uniqueness of the fluing solution, so we are working together to open up other opportunities and supporting customers to find solutions.”
