Sinelco's driven to distribute for Danfoss

Danfoss Drives has chosen Sinelco Control Gear to be its drives partner for Glasgow and the west of Scotland.
Sinelco
Sinelco Control Gear was picked to distribute Danfoss variable speed drives in line with Danfoss' plans to expand its distributor base in Scotland.

Danfoss used to have one exclusive distributer, Frazer Macdonald, for Scotland but has recently been seeking a number of distributors for the Scottish market.

Sinelco, part of the Park Electrical Group, is based in Hillington and has been a distributor of control gear for many years.

David White, manager at Sinelco, said 'This will be the first time we have offered variable speed drives to our customers but the technology is not in any way new to our staff and we have in-house, the expertise to support customers' drives applications.

'For that reason, Danfoss VLT drives will make an excellent fit with our existing product ranges, will open new doors and also allow us to widen our solutions offerings to a broader customer base'.

Danfoss' variable speed drives have been installed in numerous London landmarks including 'the gherkin' aka the Swiss Re Tower.
