Polypipe launches new-look planning tool

Polypipe's online Ventilation Specification Web planner, has been upgraded with more features to help specify and install domestic ventilation.
In order that planners meet building regulations and achieve higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes, there has been a move towards more efficient ventilation methods such as mechanical extract ventilation (MEV), mechanical extract ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) and exhaust air heat pumps (EAHP).

The new online planner aims to allow installers and specifiers to specify the most suitable appliance for a building and calculate the correct ducting to purchase from a distributor as a tailor made package - taking away the hassle of specifying domestic ventilation.

The new version of the planning tool provides a complete parts breakdown list and also the necessary airflow commissioning data with the approximate likely energy consumption of the system. Installers can print their shopping list and take it to the nearest Polypipe distribution partner to place their order.

To use the new online planner visit: www.polypipe.com/ventilation
