OFTEC goes on the road with technician events

OFTEC (Oil Firing Technical Association) is taking to the road this autumn with two exclusive events planned in Cambridge and Exeter to help technicians get the most from their registration.

The morning roadshows include a seminar programme and trade exhibition featuring some of the biggest names in the oil heating industry.

Confirmed exhibitors include, Firebird, Grant Engineering (UK) Ltd, Kane International Ltd, Kingspan Environmental, NACE, Powred Heating Components LTD, Prompt Payer, Riello and South West Peninsular Training.

Staff from OFTEC will be on hand throughout the morning to answer questions and provide advice, with all show attendees able to benefit from special discount offers available through the OFTEC Direct online store. A prize draw will also be held on the day.

The roadshows are being held at the Cambridge Golf and Conference Centre on Thursday 25 September and Exeter Racecourse in Devon on Tuesday 7 October. Doors open at 9.30am and free refreshments, including lunch, are provided. The events finish at approximately 2pm.

OFTEC’s Malcolm Farrow said: “Our roadshows are always extremely popular with technicians as they offer a time efficient way to keep up to date with new industry developments and access valuable advice and guidance.

“The events are part of the complete support package we offer technicians through our Competent Persons Scheme to ensure they have all the tools and backing to run a highly professional, successful business.”

To reserve a place or register as an exhibitor, please call OFTEC on 0845 658 5080 (option 4) or email marketing@oftec.org. Places are limited so early booking is advisable.
