NSCC has launched a new training programme for specialist contractors designed to build on their existing business skills and prepare them for an upturn.
With research showing that more companies go out of business as the economy recovers from a recession, NSCC is working with key partners to deliver a bespoke training programme to equip its members with the skills they need to look ahead and make sure their business is ideally placed for the future.

The NSCC Better Business Skills programme, which is supported by CITB and the University of East Anglia as well as new partners, Barclaycard and SIG plc, will comprise a number of one-day workshops delivered by MadAbout in an engaging and practical way and focusing on core business skills, such as business planning, cash flow management, performance management and sales. All businesses participating in the programme will also receive one-to-one business coaching designed to complement the content of the workshops.

SIG plc, the leading supplier of building materials and products, is committed to sustainable business growth and will be providing the training venues for the NSCC programme.
