New UK area manager for SPX Cooling Technologies

SPX Cooling Technologies, UK has appointed an industry expert to look after its customers in the south of the UK.

SPX Cooling Technologies' new are manager Martin Scott

Martin Scott brings extensive industry background to this new role and unique problem solving expertise in matching design requirements with various evaporative cooling solutions.

“I like to think outside the box and identify the right opportunities for my clients,” Martin said. “If I see an opportunity that will help people change things for the better, I will make that recommendation. I am proud to have always offered what customers truly need as part of a full-service package rather than simply selling them what I think they want,” he added.

SPX Cooling Technologies is a full-line, full-service leader in the design and manufacture of Marley evaporative cooling towers for both HVAC and industrial process cooling applications and is building its global footprint with representation in several strategic territories.

Martin said he is looking forward to tackling many business opportunities in London and the south of the UK. He is also excited to have SPX’s extensive product base to work with.

Capitalising on his HVAC and process cooling experience, including critical applications such as data centres, Martin finds that working with consultant engineers at the early planning stages of projects is the best way to ensure only the most suitable equipment is specified and installed.

“I prefer to get involved with projects at the specification stages to ensure only the right equipment is used. I work with consultants and take the time to really learn about their projects. It is only after I am fully educated that I can make an informed recommendation that I am confident will lead to the right outcome.”

Jeroen Bouten, SPX Cooling Commercial Director – Europe, Middle East & Africa said: “We are delighted that Martin is representing SPX Marley. He has a wealth of technical experience and is well positioned to support growth in London and the southern part of the UK.”
