More business with snow business for heating engineers

Trade-only plumbing and heating supplier Plumbfix is coping with an increased demand for copper, gas boilers and other heating components as the UK is blasted by snow, ice and freezing temperatures.
Heating engineers are being called on and Plumbfix's call centre has seen enquiries for heating related components increase as engineers have sought to get hold of parts quickly.

'While the rest of the UK has been struggling with the conditions, it looks as if the snow and cold weather will prove to be a great boost for heating engineers, as they're called on to get systems up and running again before the Christmas holidays,' said Plumbfix marketing director, John Mewett.

'The challenge now will be making sure the parts that engineers most need are readily available. Customers can reserve their products which will be ready for collection within 15 minutes of placing an order or our customers can choose free on-site next day delivery.'

'Just because much of the work needs doing quickly, shouldn't mean compromising on quality and safety. At Plumbfix, we only sell gas safety critical components to engineers who are Gas Safe registered,' he added.
