Lochinvar promotes Ashplant to key sales role

Commercial hot water, heating and renewables company Lochinvar has appointed Dave Ashplant as its new southern regional sales manager.

He has been promoted to his new role after more than two years as area sales manager for London East, Kent, and East Sussex. He will now be responsible for coordinating the company’s full southern sales team.

Lochinvar’s sales director Liam Elmore said this appointment came at an important time for the company as it was seeing strong potential for growth in the southern market. “We believe Dave is the right person to lead the team into this exciting future,” he said.

“He has been a strong performer throughout his time at Lochinvar and has considerable experience from his previous industry roles as well,” Liam added. “He has also shown the leadership skills required to make the step up. We are excited to see the plans Dave has for the southern region and, of course, we will support him wholeheartedly.”

Dave said he felt very fortunate to be taking over such a strong regional team. “They are a great group of people who understand our market, our products and most importantly the needs of our customers,” he said.

“My role will be to support them in any way I can and ensure we are always exceeding expectations.”

Dave’s promotion has created a vacancy, so Lochinvar is now seeking a new area sales manager for the southern region.

Carbon reductions for northern arena

Rinnai hot water systems are projected to produce ‘significant’ carbon reductions at a huge indoor arena in the North of England. The company has produced a designed system based on its R290 high-temperature heat pump. This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
