Kinetics Group wins health and safety award for second year

Asset and facilities management services specialist, Kinetics Group has received the International Safety Award from the British Safety Council for the second successive year.
The award recognises and rewards organisations that show a real commitment to improving corporate health and safety.

The company demonstrated significant advances made to health and safety during the past year, together with improvements to policies and the safety culture within the organisation.

In addition, the company presented its plans and commitment to health and safety going forward.

The award follows the company's recent success at The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards, where it won the Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety.

'We are delighted to have won this award for the second year running, said Paul Kennedy, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Director for Kinetics.

'We are proud of the continuing improvements we are making to health and safety across the Group and it is a great achievement for our hard work to be recognised by the British Safety Council.'

'For more than 50 years, we have led the way in promoting health, safety and environmental best practice in society,' said Brian Nimick, chief executive of the British Safety Council.

'In the 21st Century, many organisations worldwide are now making health & safety a top priority. Through achieving these International Safety Awards, the Kinetics Group is helping to make our vision of a safe working environment a reality.'

Kinetics also remains one of the top rated organisations on the HSE's Contractor Health and Safety Performance Indicator Scheme, ranking third overall.
