IOM3 Training Academy offers aluminium brazing course

IOM3 Training Academy is offering an Introduction to Aluminium Brazing course on 27th September and 25th October this year.

The course will be held at The Boilerhouse, Springfield Business Park, Caunt Road, Grantham, NG31 7FZ.

Brazing aluminium is an integral process within the automotive, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors. It is different to standard brazing but not difficult, with success dependent on an understanding of application methods.

Delivered by the European Association of Brazing and Soldering (EABS), a specialist community within IOM3, this one day course will give delegates an understanding and appreciation of the process of aluminium brazing and aluminium brazed products.

The course will include an introduction to the brazing technology used, explain the process of aluminium brazing as well as giving an overview of furnace and flame brazing processes. The auditing of aluminium processes linked to brazing industry standards will also be covered.

The day will be presented in an interactive format with practical demonstrations and opportunities for questions.

All delegates will receive an IOM3 certificate of attendance endorsed by the PIABC Awarding Body.

The course is aimed at metallurgists, engineers, designers, production staff, managers and consultants and costs £150 + vat to attend.
