HVR Awards: Deadline Extended!

The entry deadline for the HVR Awards has been extended until June 21 to allow more time for the industry to enter. Celebrating 15 years since its launch, this is expected to be a bumper year for the prestigious scheme which recognises excellence from across the heating and ventilating sector.

There are some exciting changes for this year with the event taking place on September 12 at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London. Launching a number of new categories in line with the latest industry developments, this year’s event also introduces a fun-filled after party to allow guests to celebrate late into the evening.

Organised by Heating & Ventilating Review publisher, Datateam Business Media, the HVR Awards has been rewarding excellence in the HVAC sector for an incredible 15 years. And now, we’re back with 20 trophies up for grabs, among them five new categories.

HVR’s business development manager, James Marshall-Loughran, said: “We are thrilled to be returning for our 15th year. This promises to be an unmissable awards event in an all new venue, with brand new awards to be won and a great opportunity to network and celebrate after the event.”

Once again, the awards will include a mixture of categories that are either judged by an expert industry panel, or those that will be determined by an industry vote. Go to www.hvrawards.com/categories for more details.

Carbon reductions for northern arena

Rinnai hot water systems are projected to produce ‘significant’ carbon reductions at a huge indoor arena in the North of England. The company has produced a designed system based on its R290 high-temperature heat pump. This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
