Hiltons Building Services completes £3.3m mechanical job

Nottingham-based building services specialist, Hiltons Building Services has completed the mechanical work for a flagship campus for Derby Collage.
Appointed to carry out the work by Imtech Goodmarriott & Hursthouse, Hilton's role was to design and install the mechanical services package as well as to handle the 3D CAD co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical services information. Hiltons worked alongside Imtech who carried out the electrical installation.

The project incorporates a number of low and renewable energy solutions including rainwater harvesting, heat recovery systems and high energy condensing boiler plant.

'The Roundhouse has been a fantastic and unique project to have worked on,' said Neil Green, construction director at Hiltons.

'We have overseen the whole design and installation of all mechanical services on site from above ground drainage systems through to the natural ventilation systems. The package of services that we have delivered will equip the college with all the necessary amenities to operate as a first class higher education facility', he added.
