Heat pump training from Dimplex
[firstParagraph]
Dimplex is doubling its support for the UK’s low carbon heating market with an air source heat pump accredited installer programme and a new renewables training suite.
Access to a wide range of air source heat pumps is available thanks to Dimplex's accredited installer programme.
Developed in response to demand for low carbon heating solutions, the training opens up a new stream of business to contractors, as well as ensuring easy access for specifiers to an expanding accredited installer network.
The Dimplex course is open to experienced heating, plumbing, electrical and HVAC installers and is supported with a dedicated training facility at Dimplex's Southampton headquarters.
With a variety of air source heat pumps in the training suite, the course provides installers with the practical know-how for installations. Training is also available at Chesterfield and Inverness.
Dimplex training manager Steve MacLean said:'There is huge demand for quality renewable solutions in heating, and the accreditation course and new training facility means that installers now have access to market-leading expertise and equipment in one place.'
A short exam at the end of the comprehensive two-day training course must be completed successfully before accreditation, to ensure the highest levels of competence, after which installers have the right to market themselves as a Dimplex Accredited Installer.
The scheme gives installers exclusive access to post-installation commissioning services, extended warranties, full Dimplex technical support services and a free website listing and marketing support pack, plus cashback on the first installation which fully refunds the £395 application fee.
One day courses are also available to give specifiers and other building professionals an overview of heat pump technology and system design.
