Hamworthy Heating website wins award

The website has seen a 148% increase in visitors from organic search and a massive 766% increase in enquiries since launch. The site ensures that customers have everything they need to support both old and new products

Hamworthy Heating has won an award for Best Use of Website at the recently held Construction Marketing Awards.

The awards celebrate creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing in the construction industry across a range of categories including direct marketing, content marketing, social media and PR.

Hamworthy Heating launched its new website in February 2015 and faced tough competition in the category as the awards received a record number of entries.

The judges’ comments taken from the winner’s book said: “A really ‘honest’ site with bags of user input at the design stage. Wide range of research methods used to get the best outcome. Staff and customer testimonials confirm that the end result is exactly what was intended at the outset.”

Marketing manager at Hamworthy Heating, Julie Shaw, picked up the trophy on the night with Sam Boshier, senior marketing executive. Julie said: “We had a very short timeframe to deliver the new site earlier this year and wanted to make sure it gave our customers and staff exactly what they needed. We are so pleased to win this national award. The feedback and results we’ve seen from our website in the first year have been amazing.”

Hamworthy Heating fought off British Gypsum, Catnic, EH Smith and Eurocell to take home the winner’s title.
