AREA, the European air conditioning and refrigeration contractors association, has re-elected Graeme Fox as president for the next two years. Other board members saw their mandate renewed for another two years, except Gerhard Neuhauser, past president of AREA, who has had to step down due to professional reasons.
The AREA board now consists of: president Graeme Fox (RACG, UK), vice-president Marco Buoni (ATF, Italy) , treasurer Per Jonasson (KYL, Sweden), director Peter Bachmann (BIV, Germany), director Philippe Roy (SNEFCCA, France).

This is Mr Fox's second term of office since being elected in 2010 after serving several years on the AREA board. He is the owner of Dundee-based contractor Specialist Mechanical Services.

Commenting on his re-election, Mr Fox said: 'I am very grateful for the honour of representing AREA for another two years. I take it as an acknowledgement of the valuable work undertaken by our board since 2010. Be assured that I will not spare my efforts to defend our sector in the challenging years to come with the review of the F-gas regulation.'

AREA also welcomed a new member, the Spanish association CNI.
