GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK appoints new COO

GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK has announced the appointment of Phil Baker as its new Chief Operating Officer. The move further strengthens its senior leadership team as the business looks ahead to its next phase of development.

Phil Baker is the new COO at GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK

Mr Baker joins the business after 11 years at Hawco, most recently as sales director. He is taking up the post at a time of positive momentum, working alongside the existing leadership team to support the continued growth of the business and its long-term strategic direction within the UK HVAC market.

Speaking about the appointment, Ian Carroll, GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK deputy chief executive officer, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Phil to the business. His experience and approach align closely with our values and our ambitions. He will play a key role as we continue to strengthen the organisation and support our partners across the UK.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Baker said: “GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK has a strong heritage and a clear direction, built on many years of expertise in the HVAC sector. My focus is on building on that success, supporting our partners, strengthening our internal capabilities and ensuring we are positioned for long-term, sustainable growth.”

As part of this forward-looking approach, GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK continues to invest in its people and infrastructure. This will see further recruitment across sales and technical support roles to ensure customers benefit from responsive service and deep technical expertise as the business grows.

“People are central to our future,” Mr Baker continued. “By strengthening our commercial and technical teams, we’re investing directly in the relationships and support that underpin our success.”

Mr Baker will work closely with the existing leadership team to support day-to-day operations while helping shape the next stage of development for GENERAL HVAC Solutions in the UK.
