Leading chemical water treatment and filter manufacturer Fernox has promoted Jim Canning to the role of northern sales manager.

Jim Canning, northern sales manager at Fernox

Previously area sales manager for the West Midlands at Fernox, Mr Canning will take up his new appointment in September and looks forward to the exciting challenges ahead.

Mr Canning joined Fernox in 2016, bringing with him over 10 years of industry experience in key account management after holding a variety of senior roles at Wolseley, Stelrad Radiators and Grundfos.

In his new position, Mr Canning will be responsible for expanding business within the northern area of the UK, in addition to managing the area sales managers for the North and West Yorkshire regions, as well as Scotland.

Mr Canning commented: “It’s an exciting time for Fernox following the launch of the TF1 Omega Filter and the innovative Filter Fluid+ Protector chemical water treatment. We are a company that is investing in and developing its product portfolio as well as its people.

“I’m really thrilled to be taking on this role. We’ve got a great team in place already, and I’m eager to continue our excellent work educating the market on the importance of chemical water treatment and filter technology to protect the energy efficiency and lifespan of a heating system.”
