Fernox announces competition winner
Graham Baron of GRJVS Limited has been awarded £2000 worth of holiday vouchers after coming up with the most witty and creative entry.
The competition, which was launched on Valentine's Day this year, asked people in the trade to come up with a catchy reason as to why they 'Heart Fernox' for the chance to win the holiday vouchers. However, the level of response and standard of the entries was so high that Fernox has since decided to award several runner-up prizes too.

Mr Baron said: 'For 41 years I have successfully used the Fernox chemical water treatment range so when I saw the competition I just had to give it a go. My wife Annick and I, spent some time coming up with different entry ideas but finally decided upon: 'Longevity. Outstanding. Value. Excellence. (Love) Not only on Valentines day but every day.'

Based in and around Rochester in Kent, Mr Baron has successfully run his own company GRJVS (Graham Robert John Valiant Specialist) for 15 years and has built up an enviable reputation for carrying out quality boiler serving and repairs.

Fernox global marketing director, Francine Wickham, said: 'Everybody at Fernox was entertained by the wonderful range of entries that we received. It is also testament to the quality of our products, longevity and our always-happy-to-help staff that we received so many touching references from satisfied customers. We felt that Graham's entry was very well thought out and we were delighted to award him as the winner.'

The 'I Heart Fernox' competition was one of many ongoing competitions and activities to help celebrate the company's 50th anniversary.
