EST becomes latest NIA affiliate member

The Energy Savings Trust (EST) has become the latest organisation to take up affiliate membership of the National Insulation Association (NIA).
Bev Coombe, membership and communications manager, said: 'Affiliate membership of the NIA became possible last month and recognises the services that many related organisations have to offer the insulation industry. We have for many years enjoyed a sound working relationship with the EST which has been of great benefit to our members and so we are naturally delighted to have them officially on board as our latest affiliate.'

Philip Sellwood, Energy Saving Trust chief executive, said: 'Over the years, we have worked closely with the National Insulation Association (NIA) to build a strong and successful working relationship; so affiliate membership with the associate seemed the natural progression. The savings to be made by properly insulating your home are significant and surely, enough to get all homeowners to sit up and take notice. We look forward to working closely with the National Insulation Association (NIA) and sharing insight to make the most of these opportunities.'
