Environment and Energy Awards 2012 now open

The Environment and Energy Awards event 2012 is now open for entries to reward innovative work in the environmental and energy sector.
Companies are encouraged to enter the awards to showcase their endeavours to improve energy usage through new innovative products, or to highlight a recent project that helped implement new environmental policies or even developments that have improved a company's environmental footprint.

The awards will be presented during an awards dinner on the evening of the 22 May 2012 at the National Motorcycle Museum during Sustainabilitylive! 2012.

Categories available for the Environment and Energy Awards 2012 are as follows:

• ESTA Energy Manager of the Year
• Renewables Innovation Award
• Energy Product/Service Award sponsored by The Energy Institute
• SME Award for Energy Efficiency
• Energy Efficient Refurbishment Award
• Energy Supplier Customer Service Award sponsored by Utility Week
• Environmental Leadership Award for Cultural Change
• Environmental/Sustainability Manager of the Year
• Innovation Award for Environmental Technology
• Environment Product/Service Award
• Sustainable Business of the Year Award sponsored by NQA
• Sustainability Communications Campaign Award
• Innovation Award for Remediation Technology
• Outstanding Achievement Award

To enter the awards click here. The deadline for entries is Friday 13 January 2012. A company entering for one or more of the award categories before the Wednesday 23 December will benefit from the early entry rate of £50 +VAT, thereafter it will be £65 +VAT.

The judging is carried out by a number of industry experts who will select the shortlisted companies and category winners.
