EIC called for full service offering

Sitel, a leading outsourced call centre provider, has appointed EIC to deliver a facilities management solution for its eight UK offices.
EIC called for full service offering
The contract commences this month for a term of three years.

The win comes after EIC's successful delivery of small mechanical and electrical installation works and a number of refurbishment projects for Sitel. The company has now retained EIC to provide a complete hard service, facilities maintenance programme.

'We have been working with Sitel for the last seven years, providing small mechanical and electrical contracting services including several refurbishment projects,' said Ian Lyall, joint managing director of EIC.

'We are delighted the company has taken out a new contract for its on-going building fabric requirements, based on the level of service we have provided in the past.

'This is a clear demonstration of how EIC has evolved during the last two years, drawing upon our 35 years' worth of experience in the industry and expand on our services to provide a one-stop-shop building services solution for clients. Today we offer everything from design and installation to planned and reactive maintenance and it is thanks to this expansion that we are winning new customers and increasing the remit of our responsibilities with our existing clients.'

EIC's integrated building services focus on two distinct business streams: Engineered Facilities Management and Engineered Building Services, enabling clients to access a package which is tailored to match their requirements. With a 24-hour helpdesk facility and a network of 12 regional offices - from Scotland to Cornwall - EIC can meet the needs of both local and national firms, wherever they are located.

This geographic network is a good fit for Sitel which has eight regional offices in the UK, in Accrington, Exeter, Dundee, Kingston upon Thames, Leavesden, Newcastle upon Tyne, Stratford upon Avon, Watford. Sitel has been ranked as the UK's number one call centre provider by the Black Book of Outsourcing, as compiled by industry analysts Datamonitor.

'As a leading provider in contact centre outsourcing, employing around 3,500 associates in the UK, we need an FM provider who can anticipate our requirements, respond quickly and work with us to minimise disruption to our business,' added Matt Turner, national FM manager for Sitel.

'EIC has carried out a number of projects for us so we feel confident the company will deliver a standard of work to ensure business continuity, and their team has worked closely with our Procurement Department to guarantee the specification meets our exact requirements.'
