Ebm-papst signs Fläkt Woods as UK distributor

Flakt Woods is now the sole UK distributor of the ebm-papst range of short-cased and plate-mounted axial fans.
Ebm-papst, Europe's largest motor and fan manufacturer has teamed up with Fläkt Woods, a leading European manufacturer of ventilation and ac equipment, to benefit from its strong ties with leading M&E consultants, contractors and its national network of Express distributors. ebm-papst hopes this will help it market its building services products.

'The union is a highly significant move for both companies with the new enterprise marking the beginning of a determined drive by the partners to consolidate their lead in the UK fan market', said Neil Yule, director and UK BU Leader of Fläkt Woods.

'Fläkt Woods is dedicated to growing its business in Europe', said Neil.

'As well as leveraging the technologies that we have developed for the Nordic markets, we are entering into selective joint venture agreements. The ebm-papst deal provides our customers with a broader offering of systems and solutions, tying together the ebm-papst high-quality products with our broad distribution network', added Neil.
