Ruskin Air Management has appointed Direct Ventilation Distributors (DVD) as agents for the Actionair brand in Yorkshire and the North East of England.
Customers will have access to Actionair's product ranges of fire and smoke control dampers and fan coil units, DVD's technical support team based in Leeds as well as Actionair's experts in Whitstable.

DVD will give design support and assist in product selection while working with mechanical contractors at local level.

Managed by John and Paul Gill, DVD has long-standing ties with Actionair.

Terry Sweet of DVD will liaise with consultants and contractors in East Anglia, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and parts of the North East. He has worked for Actionair for more than 20 years and so is familiar with building services specialists in the area.

Terry Sweet said ''Many of the friendly faces are still at Actionair, but the products have certainly moved forwards in the two years I've been away. There are innovative new Damper ranges and Actionair fan coils now set the standard for low energy consumption.

'The best thing of all from a salesman's point of view is that investment in production systems and computerised order processing has cut delivery times. It's good to be back.'
