CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering) ceo Kevin Wellman has been elected to the executive board of the World Plumbing Council.
The appointment was made at a Council meeting, following the 10th World Plumbing Conference, which took place in New Delhi, India, from 14-15 November.

Mr Wellman has also been appointed chairman of the Research and Development Committee, which is developing a database of global initiatives pertaining to drainage and sanitation.

He will be working closely with his executive board colleagues in support of the World Plumbing Council's mission to promote the role of plumbing in improving public health and safeguarding the environment, by uniting the world plumbing industry, for the benefit of all.
