Camfil UK introduces certification scheme for indoor air quality in buildings

Air filtration solutions specialist, Camfil UK, has launched a certification scheme for buildings that promote clean indoor air quality through the selection and application of comfort air filtration.
The Excellence in Air Quality Certificates will be awarded to FMs, estates managers and building managers over the coming months, during the European Year of Air 2013.

Awarded by Camfil, the certificate has air system star quality points based on the correct use of comfort air filtration. It also states that recommendations given by BSI EN 13779:2007 for air filters classed by BSI EN 779:2012 have been consistently implemented in all the building areas.

Camfil managing director, Bill Wilkinson, said: 'We want to reward those building owners and managers that promote clean indoor air quality in their buildings. We need to raise awareness of how important clean air is for healthy living and working.'
