BSRIA appoints new business manager

BSRIA has announced the appointment of Peter Tse MEng, CEng, MCIBSE, MIET, PE as business manager for its Sustainable Construction Group.

Mr Tse was previously principal consultant within BSRIA’s Sustainable Construction Group for eight years.

He has had an extensive and distinguished career at BSRIA in the construction and built environment sector, with a particular interest in building performance evaluation, energy management, renewable technologies, asset management and policy strategy. He is also an expert in life cycle costing, condition surveys and electrical infrastructure.

Mr Tse has also worked at Ballinger in Philadelphia as a electrical engineer, delivering a variety of new and renovation projects in the healthcare, offices and education sectors.  

BSRIA chief executive Julia Evans said: “Peter brings with him an abundance of experience. We see his promotion as an essential step in our continued development for the strategic direction BSRIA is taking for 2018 and beyond.

“With Peter’s specific, far-reaching building performance evaluation background, he brings to the table invaluable industry intelligence and, of course, vast knowledge of BSRIA, its members, standards and ideals. I know Peter is a first-rate and popular appointment.” 

Mr Tse said: “I am very excited about my appointment into this role and the opportunities therein to enhance BSRIA’s reputation and support its members and client base, both nationally and globally.
