Brymec expands with purpose-built Gatwick centre

Brymec has moved in to a state-of-the-art, purpose-built, new site near Gatwick Airport. The site has 40 per cent more capacity than the company’s current warehousing.

The new Brymec site.

Relocating to the new site allows the company to improve their stockholding capacity ensuring that key products are available for customers the next day.

Another major benefit of the site will be a new manufacturing testing facility. Brymec products will be tested – including pressure-testing – at the factory before delivery to site. So, customers can rest assured that their products will be of the highest standard.

The Gatwick site complements the recently opened logistics depot in Cheadle, Staffordshire, serving the midlands and north of the country. The Cheadle warehouse, near the M6, ensures that Brymec can provide next-day delivery services to all areas of England and Wales.

Luke Reiner, Brymec managing director, said: “Brymec has achieved staggering growth in recent years and, having moved to manufacturing our own systems, we are now much more than a product supplier. This new warehouse shows the ambition we have to continue our growth as a company and build on our success.

“Our new space will give us even greater scope to provide our customers with full project services, including mechanical system technical services, as well as extending our logistics offering.

“We are committed to supplying our customers with the products they need on time and in full and our new facilities will only help us deliver on this promise. Our in-house team will continue to offer technical expertise and solutions for any project.”

The modern new site is four miles north of Gatwick Airport and near to junction nine of the M23 giving it excellent transport links to the south east and the national motorway network. The new building also makes use of on-site low and zero carbon technologies. This includes motion-sensitive LED lighting to offices and air source heating and cooling.
