Bitzer UK has reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to the UK market following the recent EU referendum result.
Managing director of Bitzer UK, Kevin Glass (pictured right), said: “I want to reassure all our customers, past, present and future, that Bitzer is totally committed to serving and supporting the needs of the UK market into the future.”
He added: “As I underlined in a recent interview, the UK is a key market for Bitzer, not only in terms of value but in terms of innovation and technical creativity. This is extremely important for us and, in turn, enriches the wider Bitzer group globally. We believe the UK will always generate new ideas and push boundaries, and – as we have done for many decades already – Bitzer UK will be here to support the pioneers helping to shape the industry’s future.”
The statement coincides with an announcement by the Carbon Trust that Bitzer’s Varipack inverter-based compressor control system has been accepted for inclusion on the UK Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) Energy Technology List.
This entitles businesses purchasing listed products to claim 100 per cent first year enhanced capital allowances on the cost of the equipment, providing a significant incentive to invest in energy efficient products.
