Baxi encourages young north east consultants

Baxi Commercial Division has sponsored the launch of a new CIBSE YEN (Young Engineer's Network) region in the North East of England.
CIBSE YEN is a network of regional centres that aims to provide a forum and support network for young engineers within CIBSE, each consisting of a committee which organises social and technical events in the local area.
Rebecca Johnson, head of marketing & communications (UK and Ireland) for Baxi Commercial Division, initially discussed setting up a CIBSE YEN region with Emma Marshall, winner of the 2009 CIBSE Graduate of the Year, and Gerard Hosford of AECOM, Newcastle. Alongside Colin Lehane of Mott Macdonald, they worked to ensure that the region was set up quickly.
