Baltur UK appoints new business development manager

Baltur UK, the UK division of global boiler manufacturer Baltur, has strengthened its sales team by appointing David Fry as business development manager.

David Fry.

Mr Fry, who will cover the North East and Yorkshire region, started his career as an apprentice gas fitter in 1971. After working in both technical and supervisory roles, gaining commercial and industrial City & Guilds Gas Utilisation qualifications, he moved into commercial sales in 1985. He has since held sales positions for boiler manufacturers including Ideal and Remeha.

In his new role at Baltur UK, Mr Fry will be responsible for generating sales of Baltur boilers for all types of commercial, industrial and processing applications. His particular focus will be on the MCS range of IP4XD-rated weatherproof boilers, which are specifically designed for installation outside the building.

He said: “I’m relishing the new opportunity at Baltur UK who, for me, stand out not just for their technical capabilities and product range but for the excellent customer service that is at the centre of everything they do. I am particularly looking to drive growth and sales of the MCS commercial boiler range, which I believe is a unique product for a currently untapped market.”

Technical director for Baltur in the UK, Martin Cooke, said: “We’re delighted to welcome David to the Baltur UK team. His industry experience, gained from a career spanning over 40 years, will be invaluable and he will be a great asset to the team as we develop and grow the business.”
