The AmbiRad group signed the agreement to buy Benson Heating at the end of June.

Benson Heating, which supplies oil and gas-fired heaters, went into administration at the end of May 2009, resulting in all 73 members of staff losing their jobs at the company's factory in Knighton, Powys.

MD Mike Brookes said:'The products and services of Benson Heating are highly complementary to the AmbiRad Group's existing range of heating, cooling and ventilation solutions, from market leading brands including AmbiRad, Nordair Niche, Airbloc and Reznor and will combine to provide one of the markets widest and versatile ranges'.

In addition to to the Powys site, AmbiRad has headquarters in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, its Nordair Niche brand has sites in Stockport in Cheshire and Braintree in Essex. Reznor is based in Folkstone, Kent.
