Airflow offers CIBSE approved CPD presentation

Airflow Developments is now offering a CIBSE approved CPD presentation, which it says will provide a greater insight into the specification of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery within non-residential buildings.

The CPD explains in detail why ventilation is such an important component in the running of any commercial building and looks closely at the varied methods of MVHR to enhance air quality. In addition, it provides application examples such as classrooms, industrial plants and office spaces, while reviewing how legislation plays a vital role within any specification.

The comprehensive CPD presentation also discusses the key drivers behind recent amendments to Part F and L of Building Regulations, as well as the European ErP Directive (Lots 6 and 11), which has shifted the focus on energy efficiency within the industry over the past 18 months. It also considers the implications of the BREEAM standard and evaluates the most effective ways to incorporate Passivhaus principles within commercially lead specifications.
