ADEY announces latest sludge competition winner

ADEY Professional Heating Solutions, has chosen the latest winner of its popular #ShowUsYourSludge social media competition. A platform for installers to share photos of the black iron oxide sludge collected by ADEY’s MagnaClean filters and MagnaCleanse system flushing process; the growing Facebook and Twitter competition has attracted hundreds of entries from installers. Installer, Adrian Worock from Adem Plumbing and Heating in Nottingham, wins the award-winning filter, MagnaClean Professional2, as well as ADEY’s premium quality chemicals. He said: “I’ve been following the competition on Facebook for a while now so thought I’d share some of the results I’ve seen myself. I always recommend installing a MagnaClean to my customers and advise them why this is beneficial for the health of the heating system. I take pictures before and after I’ve serviced the system to show what would be left floating around if I hadn’t fitted a filter or cleansed the system.” ADEY’s marketing director, Haimish Mead, said: “Although we continue to see a huge number of homeowners reaping the benefits of installing a MagnaClean, the number of entries we continue to receive illustrates there are still opportunities for installers to educate customers on the importance of regular heating system maintenance. “The fact that Adrian shares before and after images with his customers demonstrates that best practice isn’t just about clever products, it’s about the expertise the installer brings to the job.”
