ADAS appoints Divyesh Jansari as Head of Energy & Resource Efficiency

Divyesh Jansari has joined the Sustainability Leadership Team at ADAS, the UK's leading environmental consultancy, as the Head of Energy and Resource Efficiency.

With a strong track record in delivering resource efficiency Divyesh Jansari is tasked with helping ADAS design and implement effective initiatives to address waste minimisation and energy efficiency issues for ADAS's top 100 key accounts.
Mr Jansari joins ADAS from Atkins where he worked as a climate change and sustainability manager. He managed a team of six consultants delivering carbon management services to the built environment this included offering guidance to design teams on the provision of low and zero carbon technologies for new and refurbished developments. Prior to joining Atkins he worked with AEA Technology as a senior consultant, initially working in waste management before moving onto Envirowise as a key account manager.
Mr Jansari is thrilled to be joining ADAS, and said: 'It is no coincidence that ADAS was named the best consultancy to work for in 2009 and 2010. I am looking forward to helping ADAS rank among the top 5 Environmental Consultancies in the UK.'
Richard Laverick, director of corporate sustainability, ADAS said: 'Divyesh is a very welcome addition to the team. He brings over 20 years proven environmental experience working with the European Commission, Government departments and local authorities.
'Divyesh's career achievements to date include working with clients such as Shell UK, Virgin Group, Centrica and Tesco designing projects resulting in carbon emissions reductions, resource efficiency, and sustainability improvements. We wish him a long and successful career with ADAS.'
