Ziehl-Abegg's new PMblue permanent-magnet synchronous internal-rotor motors already meet the requirements in the planned IE4 efficiency class, Super Premium Efficiency.
Ziehl-Abegg have responded to impending European Directives on motor efficiencies with their new PMblue permanent-magnet synchronous motors, launched at ISH. These motors, designed to be IE4 compliant, are ideal for driving Ziehl-Abegg's brand new Cpro backward curved radial impellers. The matching of two very efficient components, together with the absence of a motor in the impeller inlet, enables exceptionally high combined efficiencies. PMblue motors span the power range 3.0 kw to 45.0 kW, and are controlled by Ziehl-Abegg's PMcontrol EC controller.
