Ventive has been shortlisted for its passive ventilation with heat recovery product in this year's Ashden Awards.
The Ashden Awards were established in 2001 to identify and reward sustainable energy champions worldwide that help to reduce carbon, protect the environment and reduce poverty to improve people's lives.
A total of 61 low carbon, green energy organisations and programmes from 17 countries have been shortlisted across four categories of Awards.
Ashden founder director, Sarah Butler-Sloss, said: 'This shortlist represents the enterprises and organisations that have passed the first hurdle on the journey to winning an Ashden Award. Over the coming months we'll be continuing our forensic assessments of shortlisted applicants, which will result in our announcement in May of the most exciting sustainable energy organisations of 2014.'
Ventive's managing director, Rob Morrison, said: 'This is great news for Ventive and demonstrates our commitment to manufacturing a low carbon, unique passive ventilation system for the UK domestic marketplace.
'We look forward to the announcement in May and hope we are successful.'
