Uponor is one of the best workplaces for wellbeing

Uponor has been officially named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing 2023 by Great Place to Work®. The award recognises companies that are dedicated to supporting colleague wellbeing and ensure that a positive workplace is felt by everyone in the organisation.

To determine the list, experts from the Great Place to Work institute analysed anonymous employee surveys to understand their levels of wellbeing at work. The analysts assessed how companies support their staff with providing a work-life balance, a sense of fulfilment and job satisfaction. Psychological safety and financial security were also factors that the Institute regarded when deciding the Wellbeing list.

On receiving the accolade, Kavita Lad, HR manager at Uponor said: “We are incredibly proud to be recognised for the supportive environment we work hard to foster and the wellbeing strategy we continue to put in place for our employees. We strive to provide an environment that is safe, healthy and sustainable, as well as fun to work, where everyone feels that they can achieve, collaborate and grow together. We are delighted our workforce feels valued, supported and part of a great place to work.”

“At the heart of every organisation are its people and looking after their wellbeing should be much more than a package of impressive perks on a careers website,” explains Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work UK. “We know when employees feel genuinely contented and at ease within their roles, they are much more engaged and productive. Now in our second year of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list, we’re once again able to showcase the leading organisations providing cultures conducive to outstanding psychological, physical and social wellbeing. A huge congratulations to Uponor for making this prestigious list.”
