Tincknell Heating awarded Trusted Trader of the Year

This year’s ‘Trusted Trader of the Year’ accolade has been awarded to Tincknell Heating at the twelfth annual Which? Awards.

Based in Somerset, Tincknell Heating was established over 60 years ago and specialises in plumbing and boiler installations.

The family-owned business took home this year’s Which? Trusted Trader of the Year award at a ceremony held in London and hosted by Which? chief executive, Peter Vicary-Smith, and BBC presenter, Naga Munchetty.

The award recognises smaller businesses who have gone above and beyond for their customers, and gives companies an opportunity to set themselves apart from other businesses in the Which? Trusted Traders scheme.

Tincknell Heating joined Which? Trusted Traders in 2016 and is renowned for its personalised approach to each job and customer. The firm received numerous heartwarming reviews from satisfied customers, which stood out to the judges.

Tincknell Heating includes feedback forms in its handover pack after a job is done, demonstrating a commitment to improving its service for customers. Its staff also take the time to respond to each review – another quality that impressed the judges.

Raj Kakar-Clayton, managing director of Which? Trusted Traders, said: “The ‘Which? Trusted Trader of the Year’ is a popular award and celebrates the very best of local businesses in the UK.

“Tincknell Heating consistently receives fantastic reviews from satisfied customers. Simple gestures such as leaving flowers after a job demonstrate how Tincknell Heating has gone above and beyond for its customers.”
